In order to fix these components, this is also a process which bring a lot of difficult when reverse engineering PCB board anti-noise measures, we need to solder their leads onto the board surface.

In the most basic single side PCB Circuit Card, all of the components will concentrate on one side, while the tracks are all concentrate on the other side.

If in that case, we need to drill the through hole on printed circuit board, through which these leads can go through the PCB Circuit Card and reach the other side. As a result of that, the component side will be called top side, and solder side will be called bottom side.

If there is any components on the PCB card cloning, like the triode or integrate circuit, they need to withdraw or insert in the process of Printed circuit board reverse engineering, these components must be installed onto the sockets.

Since these sockets are all soldered onto the board directly, and components can be disassemble willingly. Nowadays, there is a socket name Zero Insertion Force socket, it can let the components insert and withdraw into/from the socket effortlessly which grant great convenience.
